Privacy Policy
This policy explains what IntelReap processes when you use the tool, which third parties are involved and the choices you have. IntelReap does not require an account and does not sell personal data.
The scan runs in your browser and the results are shown only to you. To complete a scan, your browser contacts our backend and a few third-party services, all listed below. GPS coordinates, device fingerprint hashes and your local network address stay in your browser and are not sent to our servers.
01 Who We Are
IntelReap (intelreap.com) is operated by IntelReap Information Technologies ("IntelReap", "we"). We decide how the limited personal data described in this policy is used. Contact: stmakarios@gmail.com, or use the contact form.
02 What Happens When You Run a Scan
When you open the tool, your browser reads information about your own connection and device using standard browser APIs. The results appear on your screen. To complete the scan, these requests are made:
- Our backend (hosted on Vercel) receives a request for IP identity and network details. Like any server, it receives your public IP address as part of the connection and uses it to look up your approximate location, ISP and network (ASN) information.
- A proxy and VPN check sends your time zone, browser language, ASN, network organisation name and country code to our backend.
- An AI summary request sends scan scores and categories (such as country, ISP, security and performance results) to our backend, which passes them to an AI language-model provider. Before the request leaves your browser, your IP address, city, region, coordinates, local network address, device fingerprint hashes, font and extension lists and request headers are removed.
We do not require an account and do not build user profiles. Our backend processes each request and returns the response; it does not store your scan results.
03 Data That Stays in Your Browser
The following is processed only in your browser and displayed to you. It is not sent to our servers:
- GPS coordinates, if you grant your browser's location permission
- Your local network address detected through WebRTC
- Canvas, audio and font fingerprint values and their hashes
- Detailed device, graphics and browser capability data
If your browser asks for permission to use your location, you can decline. The tool continues to work.
04 Third-Party Services
IntelReap relies on the following services. Each may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details when your browser or our backend contacts it:
- Netlify: hosts the website and processes contact form submissions
- Vercel: hosts our backend API
- IP and network data providers and AI language-model providers: contacted by our backend to return results and summaries
- Cloudflare (a trace endpoint) and ipify: queried by your browser to detect your public IP address
- Google STUN server: used by WebRTC to detect your network addresses; Google may see your IP address
- Stadia Maps: serves map tiles when the location map is shown
- Google Fonts, unpkg and jsDelivr: serve fonts and JavaScript libraries
- Google Analytics: used only after you click Accept
- Google AdSense: used only if advertising is enabled on the site
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy.
05 Cookies and Analytics
IntelReap stores your language, theme and cookie choice in your browser. If you click Accept, we also use Google Analytics (with Google Consent Mode) to measure which pages are viewed, approximate location, device type and how visitors reach the site. No analytics cookie is set and no request is sent to Google Analytics before you accept. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. 06 Advertising
IntelReap may display advertising served by Google AdSense and may include sponsored or affiliate links, which are labelled as such. Google and its partners use cookies to serve and personalise ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Where the law requires consent, ads cookies are used only after you give it. You can manage personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or opt out through aboutads.info. More information: How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
07 Contact Form
If you write to us through the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. Submissions are processed through Netlify Forms. We use them only to reply to you and keep them for as long as needed to answer your enquiry and keep a record of it.
08 Legal Bases and Your Rights
We process data to operate and secure the tool (legitimate interests), and we use consent for analytics and advertising cookies. Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR, UK GDPR, Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and similar laws, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct or delete it
- Restrict or object to its processing
- Receive it in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing
- Complain to your data protection authority

09 California and US State Privacy Rights
IntelReap does not sell personal information in exchange for money. Some analytics and advertising technologies can count as sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA. You can opt out by declining cookies through Cookie settings in the footer or by using the opt-out links in section 06. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
10 International Transfers
Our providers operate in several countries, including the United States. Where required, transfers rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses offered by those providers.
11 Retention
IntelReap has no user accounts, and our backend does not store scan results. Our hosting providers (Netlify and Vercel) keep standard request and runtime logs, and the IP data and AI providers we use handle requests under their own retention policies. Analytics data, if you accept, is retained under the retention settings of our Google Analytics property. Contact form messages are kept as described in section 07.
12 Children
IntelReap is not directed at children under 13, or under 16 where local law sets a higher age, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has contacted us, email stmakarios@gmail.com and we will delete the information.
13 Security
The site is served over HTTPS. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure, so please report any concern to stmakarios@gmail.com.
14 Changes to This Policy
We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top of the page shows the latest revision.
