Learn how your connection and device work
Every IntelReap scan produces numbers and labels that are easy to read but harder to interpret: an ASN, a WebRTC candidate, a fingerprint uniqueness score, a GPU renderer string. The articles below explain what each of those means, why it matters for privacy, performance and security, and what you can do about it.
Each article is written for people who are not network engineers. It starts from a question you might ask after seeing your results, such as whether a VPN really changes your MAC address, why your internet speed fluctuates or what a VPN concentrator does, and answers it with concrete examples and steps you can try on your own devices.
The library covers three areas. Privacy and tracking: device fingerprinting, WebRTC leaks and everyday protection steps. Network concepts: reverse IP lookup, VPN passthrough, VPN concentrators, running two internet providers in one home and why speeds change. Hardware: what a GPU does and how it shows up in what websites can learn about your device.
