IntelReap does not use cookies. This page explains precisely what minimal browser storage is used and why.
IntelReap uses zero tracking cookies, zero analytics cookies, and zero third-party advertising cookies. The only browser storage used is two localStorage keys described below.
01 What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device. They can be used for essential functionality, preferences, analytics, and advertising. IntelReap does not use traditional cookies at all.
IntelReap uses browser localStorage — a related but separate technology — for the two specific purposes described below. localStorage data does not leave your device and is not accessible to third parties.
02 What IntelReap Stores
IntelReap stores exactly two items in your browser's localStorage:

No scan data, IP addresses, device information, network results, or personal identifiers are ever stored in localStorage or anywhere else by IntelReap.
03 What IntelReap Does Not Store
- Tracking cookies of any kind
- Analytics or behavioural tracking data
- Advertising or targeting cookies
- Session identifiers linked to your identity
- Scan results or intelligence data
- IP addresses or geolocation data
- Device fingerprint information
- Network performance data
- Any cross-site tracking data
04 Third-Party Cookies
IntelReap does not load any third-party scripts that set cookies. Web fonts are loaded from a third-party CDN for typography — the provider may log font requests per their standard practices but does not set cookies on IntelReap pages.
If you have browser extensions installed (such as ad blockers or privacy tools), those may interact with IntelReap independently of this policy.
05 Managing and Clearing Storage
You can clear IntelReap's localStorage data at any time:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and Site Data → Clear Data
- Safari: Settings → Safari → Advanced → Website Data → Remove All Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Clear browsing data
Clearing this data means IntelReap will revert to its default language and show the cookie notice again on your next visit. No intelligence data or scan results will be lost because none are stored.
06 Your Choices
When you first visit IntelReap, a notice appears describing our minimal storage use. You can:
- Accept — IntelReap saves your language preference in localStorage
- Decline — IntelReap stores only the preference that you declined, so the notice does not reappear
In both cases, all tool functionality including the full intelligence scan remains available. Your choice does not affect the operation of IntelReap in any meaningful way.
07 Changes to This Policy
If IntelReap adds new storage mechanisms in the future, this policy will be updated before those changes take effect. The updated effective date will appear at the top of this page.
